PUBLIC RELATIONS AND MARKETING COORDINATOR

My name is Stephanie Stanavich and I am originally from Youngstown, Ohio, currently living in Columbus, Ohio. I am a public relations and marketing coordinator for National Nonprofit Canine Companions. Canine Companions provides expertly trained service dogs to children, adults, and veterans with disabilities.

 

In my role as a public relations and marketing coordinator, I cover 14 states in the North Central Region. I am responsible for engaging media and supporters to help spread awareness of our mission. I help implement interactive marketing and creative strategies for social media, campaigns, an e-newsletter that goes out monthly and our Companion magazine. 

 

I am organized, detail-oriented, highly personable with excellent communication skills. I can multitask while paying close attention to details, making sure to efficiently execute quality work. I am a quick learner and able to work independently or as a strong team player. As a tenacious storyteller at heart, I am able to manage every aspect of content creation from writing, to photography, to recording video and then editing it all together.

 

I am an Emmy award-winning multimedia journalist, previously working at both WBNS - 10TV in Columbus, Ohio, and CNY Central - WSTM WSTQ WTVH - in Syracuse, New York. My skills from my time in television broadcast have become key components to my success in the public relations and marketing world.
